We went to a house in Easton, PA where the residents were trying to confirm the presence of spirits. This is the story of how it went down, based on our readings, observations and experiences.
In the city of Easton, Pennsylvania, we visited a house where the clients reported a number of strange and unexplained events. The wife, Jen, had grown up in this house, and had always sensed some kind of presence. Things would fall on her, she and her husband would see shadows, and she had experienced a full body apparition. Someone would toss her hair around. Doors would open by themselves. Someone would whisper in her husband’s ear. The dog would bark and move around the house as if following someone.
But there was no one there.
Visitors would experience some of these same things. And on many occasions, Jen would hear someone using the stairs.
Once again, no one was ever there.
She said she was at ease with the spirit, and felt safe in the home. But was she?
As we entered the home, we immediately felt this heaviness, which became increasingly heavier as we moved about the house. As we went upstairs and walked into the client’s spare bedroom, the heaviness became incredibly extreme. We started to talk to whatever spirit or spirits were causing this heaviness. I had to get out of this room.
We then moved into the master bedroom, and I immediately felt lighter. I could see the image of a man, perhaps in his late 40s, early 50s. Crystal could see it as well, and she heard the name “Joey.” Crystal then heard a woman say “Michael, get out of here!” We asked for her name and she told Crystal it was Susan. Crystal and I both started to get headaches and sick to our stomachs. Susan then told us to “pack our stuff up and get out!”
She was not happy.
We went downstairs to check the room where the grandmother stayed, whose name was Alice. Once inside, both Crystal and I felt an incredible amount of peace – the room felt…protected. We asked Alice about her religious beliefs, and she told us she prayed quite a bit. Was this what was protecting the room?
We went into the living room and started talking to Susan. That’s when the trouble began.
Susan
Susan was bored. To relieve her boredom, she found it amusing to drop things on Jen. She also found it amusing to try and push people down the stairs. Worse still, Susan was jealous of those still alive. And definitely did not want us there.
While trying to talk to Susan, Crystal saw flashes of someone dying, and could tell that the family was in danger. I also felt the danger, and knew it was imperative to remove this entity from the home.
Then I felt my throat start to close up.
I mentioned to Crystal that I could feel something in my throat – I had experienced this before and knew what it was. Crystal then told me that she could see Susan with her scarf around my neck.
Susan was trying to strangle me. I laughed at her.

After further investigation, we discovered that there were two other entities in the home, Joey and Michael. Joey and Michael were terrified of Susan. Susan kept them from moving around the house, and didn’t want us to talk to them. In the master bedroom, Crystal and I attempted to talk to Joey — only to find she wouldn’t let him.
After a brief break outside, we went into the spare room to start an EVP session with Susan. As we sat down, Crystal noticed a cup in a box in front of her. It said something like “Susan’s Café” on it. We joked that it was probably how Susan chose her name. Darlene then started asking our standard EVP questions:
What is your name? Susan, like that cup
Why are you here? To terrorize. I’m bored.
Are you waiting for something? Jerry.
Did you live here? For a few years, yes.
Are there any other spirits here? Yes, Joey and Mike.
Do you want to leave here? YOU LEAVE!
Do you want to stay here? Yes, always.
Are you angry? At Michael
Are you sad? A little
Are you lonely? Yes
Do you know what year it is? Y2K
Do you know where you are? My home — rented it.
What year were you born? 1952, no 1942
Do you know when you passed away? No
How did you pass? In sleep — drug overdose. Sleeping pills.
We then moved on to some questions geared specifically toward Susan.
Why are you blocking us from talking? To make Michael leave.
Do you want to see your boyfriend again? Yes, waiting for Jerry to come here.
Why do you want to hurt me (from Jen)? I’m bored. You’re alive. I’m not. I’m jealous of you.
Did you drop something on Jen’s foot? Yes. Wish I could do more. I try.
Do you like messing with the dog? I love dogs. So cute. Cuddly. Wish he would sleep next to me.
Who is your favorite person in the house? Was Jerry.
What can I do to make you feel better if I decide to let you stay (from Jen)? Find Jerry. Bring him here.
Do you want to stay? I think I should stay and wait for Jerry.
Will you let Michael and Joey talk to Michael and Crystal? Why should I let Mike & Joey talk? NO NO NO!
This had “Very Bad Thing” written all over it.

Moving back into the master bedroom, Michael was able to block Susan enough so we could talk to Joey. We attempted an EVP session to finally get some answers. What we found shocked us…
